Remarks

Placement offered for B.E students is very good compared to M.E students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Timely internals are conducted which helps students prepare well for the exams. Control & instrumentation lab allowed us to carry out the real time projects in Final year. Campus placement are very good for B.E students (100% placements) than M.E (60% placements).

Placement Experience

4.5

Monthly scholarship will be provided for those who got into course via gate. There's another body TEQIP from college which provides scholarship based on few criteria.

College Events

4.5

Ethnic day, Annual day. Cultural activities will be conducted during MILAGRO, which is an annual inter college cultural fest which includes multiple events like mad-ads, singing, dancing, performance from musical bands. Celebrities will be invited on final day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Since it's government college selection is based on merit. Along with govt fee, college fee must be paid too. It's not too high for Master of engineering compared to other engineering colleges. I paid 50-60k annually, Which includes Exam fee + college fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't take any loan. So I have no idea about how to avail it. Organization TEQIP from college which provides scholarship based on merit.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very calm and cool. In two years of course I never came accross any sorts of politics or raging. Labs are good. Student can play cricket, volleyball. Debates, brain storming sessions will be conducted too. No gender inequality, no discrimination based on religion or race.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are cooperative. One can get proper guidance on academic related queries. We got notes, previous year question papers from our seniors.

Admission

UVCE is one of the oldest engineering college of India. It's reputation made be choose this institution. One can get admitted based on PGCET score and Merit. Based on the ranks, one can choose the course available. We had online counseling. once we are selected for course, we need to go through documents verification at CET cell, Malleswaram, Bangalore. We need to submit, verification acknowledgement, DD of Govt Fee + DD of College fee during addmission.

Faculty

4.5

We are allowed to clarify academic queries in college hours. Faculties are very cooperative. Most of the lectures are PhD holders and we'll experienced in their related fields. Around 40 lectures are available in the college. Lectures Age varies from 50-30.

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
