Remarks

Firstly since my hometown which is Jammu is nearby to the college and secondly I wanted to do PG from a well reputed University where I would get a successful placement and thirdly I saw an advertisement of LPU on Tv and college looked beautiful

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is such designed that an individual studies the course which are common in every specialization then in 2nd sem student is asked to choose the specialization. I chose Digital Marketing. The Faculties are decent I met Faculties who were inexperienced while some were very experienced and loads of information

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes I did internship for Parle for 6 months and was given stipend of 17300 per month

Placement Experience

Big MNCs visit the campus every year and provide sufficient opportunity to every student provided the student has more thanminimum CGPA and doesn't have backlog.

College Events

Campus Life is pretty interesting. Every week there will be a special events in which there would some celebrity present. Technical quiz and events are organised for various branch. Recently car making competition was organized for mechanical students while 2 day hackathon was organized. Industrial visit are organised while for MBA student industrial experts all over country visit here

Campus Life

The University provides classroom with Projector and AC which though only runs for 2months. Gym facilities are available. A huge central library is present at the centre of college. Sorts complex has almost every but you have to take membership and for every outdoor game there is a seperate ground

LPU Jalandhar is a nest!

Placement Experience:

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

Placement Experience:

In btech form the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. the highest placement is for 70,00,000 Lpa in btech. students of MBA also hold chances for placements. The placements are not in big 4 but still in genuine and great companies.

My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

Khalsa college amritsar Pros cons

Placement Experience:

They provide placement in last year of course. The students visited the Reliance stores, amazon, icici prudentials etc. , Highest package given is 7 lac per annum and average is 5 lac per annum. 80% Students got placements each year. My plans is to pursue my llb degree in khalsa college of law amritsar after completing bcom degree and part time job
