Remarks
I chose this college due their placement offers in many companies. Also their faculties are well qualified and very experienced. I have chosen BTech in Electronics because I am very much interested in the circuits design and their implementation.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my point of view, BTech syllabus is very easy to study, It is also updated too. Yes, we have 2 or 3 industrial exposure in every semester. Faculties are well talented and very experienced. I like to tell you that Sarabpreet Singh from ECE department is very good in every field.
Placement Experience
I told you that I chose this college due to their placements offers in many companies. There are so many companies visited this college like Wipro, Cognizant, Capegemini etc. These companies have offered a average package between 3 lacs to 7 lacs. But In this college,I would say that computer science students has more preference than any branch students. About 80% companies came for only computer science students in this college. Here there is also an advantage is that CGC connects with Chandigarh University, so it increases chances to be placed in the drives. Process of placement is very simple. No there's a very weak network for job referrals. No there is not any famous startups by any batch. I like say that placement cell is doing good for securing the students future.
College Events
Our College holds so many Technical events, cultural, management festivals in every week. There is always some festivals from different fields which executes so many competitions for every students. There is Techfest for engineering students which holds so many competitions and many cultural activities. Not too small not too big events organised by CGC JHANJERI. There are lots of students participating in many events.
Campus Life
CGC JHANJERI Campus is very small, when you enter into the college, It will end after a while. Sports facilities are good for those who is very much interested in any sports. WiFi is good and it's sometime increasing sometime down too much. Library is good for reading books. It's size is small, Not a very big size library in CGC. There is always lack of Equipments in the labs of CGC.
