Remarks

Top college in kerala, all facilities are available there, active in curricular and non curricular activities like tech fest, sports and festivals, also it is the one of the oldest engineering college in kerala which is established in1957

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus was affiiated to kerala technological university, and all the students gets industrial exposure by internship programs. Our HOD Dr M Sirajuddin was one of the best teacher. He knows the mind of every students.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

There so many companies visiting every year like TCS, BYJUS, EY etc but the companies from the core branches are less. Eventhough students are participating in the placement and secure their jobs. Branches like computer science will get about 90 percentage placement every year

College Events

We have technical festivals like hestia, and for different branches they different technical fests. All these fest are conducted in 2 to 3 days, and students from all the other engineering colleges are participated

Campus Life

All the facilities are availables. For the first year students college conducts camps for cricket, football, yoga and other sports events. We have central library which includes digital library also. Curricular and non curricular books also available from the library

my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the placement from the 8th semester. Companies such as tcs, Accenture, and wipro offer 100+ jobs. The highest package offered was 800000 LPA for a software engineer. Approximately 90 percent of the students secured placements.

Remarks:

Good space and ecosystem. Although the faculty keeps changing which disturbs our process of learning. This college is also situated at heart of Thrissur, it's only like 8 km from Thrissur town. The college campus is around 42 hectares.

Remarks:

Its located in a hill station so i am able to study along with enjoying nature. The college itself is very well designed in terms of architecture. On 1st look it attracts people with its beautiful natural qualities. Also in terms of academics the college has very good dedicated staff members. In terms of extra carricular activities the college has a gym, basketball and volleyball courts. Overall it is a very good college. I opted for B.Com because i was a commerce student in 11th and 12th and i required continuation.

Crack keam exam with a decent score. Good rank should be secured. Mininum 50 percentage mark in physics chemistry and maths.
