My college (NSM)

It's a well built and furnished college, with as safe environment as we are in our family. Everyone is treated with equal respect and no discrimination in any manner takes place. And the all over campus life is enjoyable.

The course is well structured and is helping explore every aspect of English by giving us knowledge about English literature and its basic fundamentals and by both theoretical or practical sessions which is actually helping strengthen our linguistic skills.

Placements opportunities in the college are however quite limited and mostly very potential students actually get the opportunity to be placed through campus placements further all other students have to find jobs on there own. Otherwise the placement cell is helpfull for us with guidance related to our career or job opportunities etc.

Fees is worth paying and is very modest as being a govt college it isn't much as compared to other colleges. Allover fees including everything that is to be paid in the college within these three years of there course is INR 8,100-8,200

Great opportunities for scholarships to students are available in my college as based on there merit the private funding by the college itself also takes place and various other schemes of government for scholarships are also available.

There is a balance in my college of both extracurricular as well as Cocurricular activities so as to provide students with equal experiences and knowledge about both. & also for us to stay body fit and active both facilities are available for sports and games be it outdoor or indoor.

My admission for B.A hons. (Englislh) is merit based, both modes of application for admission is available here be it offline or online however I used the online mode to fill the application by visiting there website and filling the form and submitting it. Basic eligibility criteria for admission is that you have to be qualified in the academic year (10+2) anywhere from west Bengal state with minimum 50% and students of other states are eligible only when during the college counseling they show there nativity certificate.

The faculty is well qualified and have great years of experience. They know each know each and every aspect of there subject syllabus with great indepth knowledge and are always keen to help us in whatever way they can.
