Algappa College of Technology,Anna University, Chennai for my Bachelor's in Technology has supported me very much to keep my skills to their best use. The alumni and the college faculty went out of their path just to make us understand the engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum for Algappa College of Technology for Bachelor's in Technology is almost similar to that of different engineering colleges. There are in total eight semesters which have internals as well as the external examinations and also the assessment tests.

Placement Experience

Students at Algappa College of Technology for the Bachelor's in Technology are placed well with good companies who require skilled and knowledgeable employees for their firms. Also internships to the students of second ,third and fourth year are provided for experience

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect of mine to choose this course is , I am very interested in the zoology, so , I choose this course by myself. The curriculum prepares you for the both real world applications and for the further academic pursuits. They asked you to take seminars in the class. You can take seminar in you interested way by chalk and talk method or by PPT. The examination hours are 3 hours. It will help you to manage the time properly.

Never go behind the hype giving by agencies

The best college experience

Basically, enrollment into this college takes place via TNEA Counselling, and you can easily get into this college if you have a cutoff above 185 out of 200. I had a cutoff of 189 and got the course. The cutoff is calculated using the marks you scored in your 12th-class exams. You can find the application form and all sorts of things on the TNEA website.
