Remarks
I have just one word to say about the college i.e, 'Perfect"". And i truly mean it. Because today i am placed at ONGC with all grace of this college. I don't have more words to thank it. Everything was just amazing here. I made memories here and those are worth cherishing whole life.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 4-year graduation course in power engineering, a sector which has tremendous scope and is the backbone of all industrial activities. In starting, basic science subjects are included and further more technical subjects come in like: power generation engineering, power plant operation, power system, etc. All the subjects are so much interesting that you will love to never stop.
Placement Experience
There is a lot of scope in this sector also the demand. This sector requires well knowledgeable human resource which can happen only after doing professional courses. So companies look for such students which they can only find in the colleges providing such courses. So companies like Adani, NTPC, Power grid, etc visit almost every year and the package they provide is unimaginable.
Fee Structure And Facilities
This course is very rarely provided so one must very lucky to get enrolled in this high demanding course without thinking of the fees, still this college asks for only nominal fees.B.TECH in Power engineering costed me around 1.14 lakh. After this i got too many offers in power sector with handsome packages which were 10 times more than the fees. So its purely worthful.
Campus Life
The course is designed such that it requires lots of training so college arranges lots of training on topics like: cyber security crime, thermal power generation technology, hydro-power generation plants, and many more. Workshops and seminars also takes place.
Admission
To get into this college one must have to follow the instructions strictly. 12th should be completed in science stream with PCM and English as main subjects. A joint entrance examination conducted by West Bengal board of examination in the year of admission must be qualified. All the school certificates must be submitted. I fulfilled all these requirements so got selected.
Faculty
All the faculties are well versed with their subjects and have experience in power sector. So they explain the topics with live examples which makes the learning interesting and lively. They tell their experience stories and make us understand each possible aspect of the industry.
