Course Curriculum Overview
It is an undergraduate course of business and financial information. The degree also serves as a basis for further higher studies in this field such as M.Com. and M.B.A. It helps in developing analytical skills and offers a professional competence in all aspects of accounting. The length of the course is 3 years.
Placement Experience
Our college has a placement and training cell that organises various programs for enhancing the skills of the students and make them prepare for upcoming challenges. The institute invites quite a few but reputed companies. B.Com, M.Com, BCA students are offered internships. Students are working in employment areas like Educational Institutes, Tax Departments, Financial Hubs, International Financing, Management of Accounting Offices and such.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was reasonable and budget friendly. We had to pay minimal amount for our course. The students were also offered various scholarships like Cash Awards, Late Khageshwar Hazarika Memorial Scholarships. Free studentship was also given to students based on merit .
Campus Life
Throughout the course we attended several events like arts, music, quiz competitions, debates, workshops, annual programs, regional festivities celebrations. These activities were so much fun and students really enjoyed and participated with enthusiasm.
Admission
The college offers admission on merit and interview basis. You need to register on the official website of college and pay Rs.200 as registration fee. Then you have to log in into your account to fill all the details and upload the documents. The selected candidates are called for interviews.
Faculty
The members of our department Worked with each student as an individual and talked with students, both in and out of class related to any queries. They had an effective discipline skills and incredible knowledge for the subject matter they are teaching.
