Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college was well organized and structured. Scholarships were given to students of good educational backgrounds. The exams were conducted by the college efficiently. The college had great infrastructure as well

The college had great placement records. Almost all students of my batch were placed in well known companies. The college used to organize several internship programs and placement drives inviting many companies

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college was well affordable for all the students. My fee for b.sc was 249000 rupees per year. Relaxation was also provided to students of reserved category and with weak economical backgrounds in fee installations

Campus Life

The course curriculum of my college had equivalent importance for both educational knowledge and practical learning and hence it used to organize several extracurricular activities and competitions for the students to participate and join

Admission

After completing my schooling, I decided to pursue b.sc from Training ship Rahman and hence applied in the college. I got selected for admission in the college on the basis of my marks in board examination

Faculty

The faculty of my college was very supportive. All the students were placed in the guidance of well educated and experienced teachers who specialized in their teaching skills and abilities. They were very cooperative with the students

College offers campus placement on an average of 5 to 6 lakh per year. Not so good. Companies like MI Tech solution,Q-spider,Latent and many more have comed for placement.Had to try for off campus for better offer.This companies before my admission .I think in future companies with high package will come. Students can seat in campus placement from 5th to 6th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

Teachers are very nice, hostel and food is awesome. Hostel is compulsory for everyone. There is a exam taken by IMU(INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY), You have score a good rank to get this college. It's one of the oldest college and know for its discipline, and also there is a nearby port where we keep visiting. The fees includes everything right from hostel fees, uniform and food.
