Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very different and is quite interesting.The course curriculum helps the students to understand and gain knowledge about start up and the concept of Entrepreneurship on a very deep level.

Placement Experience

The college provides decent job opportunities after completion of the course.The average package is around 5 lac to 8 lac which is quite decent for a fresher student.Big companies and startups visit the college to recruit the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the whole course of 3 years is around 10,80,000 Rupees which is quite expensive no doubt.But the money is worth it and the Return on Inverstment of the college is also good, so the fee is justified.

Campus Life

There are various types of workshops conducted by the faculty of the college regarding entrepreneurship and about the business world.The workshops are very useful and are very beneficial for the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are really good.There is no problem with the rooms.The rooms are very spacious and there is attached washroom in each and every room.The students can also cook their own food as they are allowed to keep induction and use it.

Admission

There is no entrance examination for admissions in this college.Candidates seeking admission must have 50% marks in their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.The candidates have to fill an admission form which is available online.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good.The professors are very friendly and are specialized in their fields.The professors are always there to help the students with any kind of problem.They try their best to give us the best knowledge regarding the subjects.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

The admission process starts with a GK entrance exam called the ISME Challenge. If you score well you then need to move for an interview with the vice dean and 7 days later you get a conditional/ unconditional offer from the institute. Reasons to choose this college is the new age of faculty and facilities. The college being at Indiabulls centre gives you a corporate touch. I joined this college as it had a lot of Practical Learning rather than bookish knowledge.
