Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum at GIMS is such that it demands hard work and is only suitable for those with a passion. The exams demand thorough clarity in concepts. The overall course does get completed on time but is hectic.

Placement Experience

A mandatory internship which is of duration one year has to be done from one of the affiliated hospitals by each and every student pursuing MBBS. As I got to know from our faculty team and our seniors, this internship is very crucial.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual tuition fees of around INR 50,000 summed up with the registration fees of around INR 9500 summed up with fees for few other things gives a total annual fees of around INR 60,000 which I feel is a bit expensive.

Campus Life

Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences [GIMS] houses adequately equipped modern state of the art laboratories which highly benefit the students by facilitating vibrant academic activity (practical studies) throughout the academic year.

Admission

There are two entrance exams through which a candidate can get admission into Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences [GIMS] - NEET and KCET. I appeared for NEET and after securing a decent rank and going through the online counselling procedure, got admission in GIMS.

The faculties at GIMS are simply great! They provide valuable academic resources which prove to be of immense help from the learning point of view. The entire faculty team is always available to every and any student for doubt clearance.

from 4 trimester I am in 3 trimester at present and i haven't seen companies but my seniors had attended interviews in the college. the highest is 48 lpa and least is 6 lpa approximately 92% if i got a placement then to do the job if not to become an Enterpreneur

From 3rd semester people starts getting the placement and internship. Finistra,Colive,HCL, these are company visit our campus 70% get placement and the average package is 6LPA and the highest is 12LPA

Placement Experience:

The overall placements of BMSIT is good. The average placement percentage is approximately 75-80%. There is a seperate Placement cell in BMSIT which helps in career options and also provide regular skill training programmes according to industry requirements. The average package in BMSIT is 6-9lpa and i have seen maximum of 22 lpa of a CS guy placed in Phonepay In our (civil) branch the average package is 4.5 lpa and placement percentage is 80%. If you not wish to go for jobs and have an idea to start a business, there is a inovation cell which supports for your buniness ideas. It also provides various online and offline platfroms to expose your ideas and helps getting funds is your ideas is really good.

Basically, In India medical colleges will be allotted to the medical or neet aspirants based on the scores they achieved in the medical entrance exam which is NEET. Medical college aspirants are required to apply for the counselling process which decides which college the student will be getting.
