The course of Botany mostly deals with the plantation and study on herbs and other ornamental plants. The study focuses on major herbal formulations and other plant related products. The course is very interesting and informative. The exam is conducted as the schedules of the Periyaar University, as the college is affiliated to that university.

The placements are good in this college and the records are almost good. Many students even get placed when they attend off campus placement drives of different companies. The college is good in its placements by giving students the appropriate training beforehand.

The fee structure of this college is highly affordable. The college only believes in quality education and similarly they demand very less fees. The college fees I had to pay for per year was 966 INR for the total duration of three years included with a one time payment of caution deposits and other miscellaneous. It comes around 24006 INR.

The college offers up to 25000 INR scholarship money to students who score well. They are almost exempted from the fees and they can even pay their hostel rentals with the money. The college also provides scholarships to the students who belong from the lower community background.

The major drawback of this college is that, it does not conduct so many events. The lab facilities of the college is really good. They are all well maintained and kept in working condition. Even many sports competition takes place in the hostel.

The college has compulsory hostel accommodation to the students. The hostel rentals are very less and comes around 3000 INR per month. The mess food is also good and only vegetarian food is served. The mess fees is to be also paid monthly based on what we ate.

The alumni network is good here, can't say overwhelmed by their visits and teaching. Some of them come here and truly act as good inspiration for all of us. The seniors are to be mentioned definitely. They are true sathguru or guides whenever we are in trouble.
