Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for B.Des Fashion design is set by a council of very experienced individuals and is approved by AICTE. We are taught all the concepts of designing, textile production, sales and retail in the course.
Placement Experience
We are given good industry exposure by our college. We are not only taught practical skills but also communication skills and management skills which will be very useful to us in future. We are trained well for jobs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee for the four year course is 20,56,000 rupees. This amount is expensive and not really affordable by everyone. But our college strives to provide us with advanced amenities and skillset that are not available in most other colleges.
Campus Life
The extracurriculars in our college are fairly good. We have fashion events conducted in the college to provide us a real life expense of the fields. We also have workshops to train us with additional skills and knowledge.
Admission
I had applied to this college after my 12th. I was then contacted by the administration and called in for an aptitude test that is conducted by the college to assess the skills required in the designing field. After the test I had to go through a round of personal interview before getting admission.
Faculty
Our college has a set of very skilled teachers who make learning easier for us. They are all very qualified in the subjects they teach and also show interest in our academics and performance in exams and projects.
