Remarks

I'm always a proud student of Dayanand College. They offer good education to the students. Rather than blocking the students to just the syllabus, the college authorities helps the students to attain practical and ethical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is hard. There are a lot of subjects to learn along with practicals and seminars. It is less research based. Hard study is needed but it assures job packages just after the completion of the course. Exam is of both theory and practical. It's a very hard time during the exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

After completion of the course, the hospital authorities will contact and offers us job. There is no internship opportunity for students in the College. Instead they provide us with enough practical knowledge.

College Events

3.5

There are limited number of celebrations in the college. Other than annual meets, blood donation camps and seminars are most often organised by the department. There are also lecture series by experienced doctors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a medical field, the fee structure seems little expensive. After I've joined the course, an increase in the fee structure took place. Now it is Rs.50000 per annum for a student. But there are scholarship facilities for students who faces financial trouble.

Fees and Financial Aid

For those who belong to the reservation category including SC and ST are provided with sufficient scholarships. It is a motivation for them. There is no particular loan facility for those belonging to the General category. They are supposed to pay the full amount of fees.

Campus Life

Only few celebrations are there in the college campus as it is attached to the hospital. We're given a proper laboratory for doing all the practicals and a good library that enriches the students. There is no caste or class issue in the campus. Gender equality too is maintained by the authorities.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I've opted for hostel and it is okay there. Hostel offers all sorts of facilities. There is no rush in a room. There are enough bathrooms and cleanliness too is maintained in the hostel. We enjoy a lot by engaging ourselves in various games/events. We enjoy complete freedom in the hostel.

Admission

I wanted to do MBBS course and I chose Dayanand Medical College for my studies. Admission procedure in the College is very strict and straightforward. I got admission after attending the entrance exam conducted by the College followed by an interview. Everything is good regarding the college.

Faculty

4

The faculty is supportive and helpful. They guide us in every respect. They instill practical and theoretical knowledge in the right ratio. By sharing their experience, they enhance our intelligence quotient.

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.
