Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is structured in a way that promotes and enhances student knowledge. The time table was designed to balance lectures and practicals. The course was a standard three year course divided into six semesters.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is responsible for getting job opportunities for the students, and the placement cell surely does a great job. The various job opportunities for students includes both - government as well as private sectors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure at the Haringhata Mahavidyalaya for B.Sc. - Physics is not too expensive. Having paid Rs. 2540 as the one-time fee, we were asked to pay Rs. 920 per month, which still accounted for less than Rs. 12,000 for the first academic year. The standard one-time fee reduced to Rs. 1405 for the second year and then Rs. 2350 for the third year, having the same monthly fees.
Campus Life
From sports day to annual day, fresher's party to farewell celebration, Haringhata Mahavidyalaya conducted them all. The cultural diversity amongst the students meant that various festivals were celebrated as well.
Admission
Getting admission at the Haringhata Mahavidyalaya was not a strenuous procedure. The eligibility criteria was passing 10+2 from science stream securing minimum 45%. The admission forms were available online, and after submitting the documents, students had to wait for the merit lists.
Faculty
Haringhata Mahavidyalaya has one of the best faculty members for the B.Sc. - Physics course. I was privileged to learn from the best. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced and they know the best teaching methods as well.
