My visit to LPU

Overall, My campus life was better. The Infrastructure of my campus was extremely good. Our faculty members were good and supportive. Almost 90-95% student of my batch got the placement. Almost all the festivals were celebrated with utmost joy. Many other basic necessities like medical facility and hostel facility were pretty good.

Course Curriculum was updated as per the latest trend in the market. The Course Curriculum was relevant for students.Exam Structure of this University was good at that time. Exam Pattern was divided in two categories which included internal exam and external exam organized by the university

The rate of placement is very high.The top Recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon India, Mahindra, Google, Axis Bank, Infosys etc. From my batch, 95% of the students were placed. To be honest the highest package offered was INR. 42 LPA by Microsoft. Yes , my college proovided internships for students. I got 15k as stipend in an internship.

The Fee Structure for the course was expensive for me at that time. My BCA tuition fee was Rs.84,000 per Semester or Rs.2,52,000 for 3 years. The examination fee was Rs.2500 per Semester or Rs.20,000 for 3 years. So, the Total fees was Rs.272,000 for 3 years.

Scholarship was offered at the time of admission on the basis of 12th board. Scholarship was also provided on the basis of marks in LPUNEST also. I got scholarship on the basis of my 12th board score.

In my time, All facilities were provided at the campus hostel and I had the complete choice to chose the accommodation that suits me and my budget. Nobody was ragged at LPU as Juniors were treated like friends by the Seniors. I don?t need to worry for food at LPU because there were about 300+ shops available inside the campus. There were 4/3/2/1 seater room with an option of Air conditioner was available.Rooms were attached with washroom, bed, table, chair, almirahs etc. Electricity consumed after the free limit was charged on actual basis. My monthly fees was 12k including food charges.

A student who is applying for LPU must pass with 60% aggregate marks in 12th (Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics) or subject to qualifying an entrance exam organized by the university that is LPUNEST. LPUNEST will be exempted if student has scored more than or equal to 90% aggregate marks in 12th. As I scored 91% in my 12th that?s why I was eligible for this. After the selection process, I appeared at the university for the documentation process.

In our department, the Faculty Members were well qualified and well-experienced in their own fields and they had a lot of knowledge. Most of them had done their PhD from reputated universities. All of them were very supportive.
