Course Curriculum Overview

The course is an undergraduate degree course of three years focused on English as a coure subject and also there are some other subjects of humanities. The course is divided in 6 Semistars within this three years of duration.

Placement Experience

We have a Career Guidance, Counseling & Placement Cell in our college which help the students of 3rd year for placements and also guide them as per there potentiality for there careers. And training opportunities are also provided by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well the college is a government college so the fees structure of the college as economical as it can be. I am doing B.A (English) and the total fees of the three years of this course is Nothing but just Rs. 5,000/- And if we compare the education we are getting from the fees we are giving it's very worth it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various good scholarships opportunities are available here in my college also free studentship is also available. To encourage education among girls there is a scholarship called Kanyashree Prakalpa for girl students and more scholarships are available so as for the minority group etc.

Campus Life

The college encourages extracurricular activities among students even there are seats reserved particularly for Sports Quota. Further many sports and games activities take place through the year in the college.

Admission

My admission in this college was on the basis of my merit in the Academic year(10+2) The basic eligibility criteria for admission in my college for my course Bachelor of Arts [BA] (English) is to be qualified in 10+2 with aggregate of 50% in which I scored much more then this. I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in English and I want to peruse my career as a professor of English by the future.

Faculty

The faculty of my department is very good. All of them are well qualified and experienced teachers. They are very approachable and helpful to us. We can easily ask them queries whenever we need it from them.

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

Dumkal College, a loving Study Centre

There are online process of Admission to this College. The authority will publish merit lists according to the marks of Higher Secondary as merit point. So they are clean to their admission policy. No third party public are allowed in this process. The College will give admission menu in their website, and student have to pay the fees at online process. Student don't need to go college untill their final admission done .
