Course Curriculum Overview
This masters course is of 2 years. Along with teaching us about economics in detail, it also helped in developing interest in research work in economics. One of the major prospect post completion of this degree is that we can easily go into research facility.
Placement Experience
A number of companies are called in yearly for the placement drive conducted by the college. They also conducted placement related activities for us, to help us with getting placed in the company we desired. However, I didn't sit for one as my focus was on research work.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The amount that I paid to college for my masters education here was very feasible and easy to afford. I had to pay a total of Rs. 20000 for the two year degree course which is less if compared to other colleges.
Campus Life
There is college fest, celebration of few festivals, etc., among few of the extracurricular activities that is carried on by the college. They encourage students to participate in these as its important part of college education.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides for hostel accommodation for the students although is quite strict in rules. I didn't live there but my friends did and its a decent hostel, with food and other facilities available in there.
Admission
A minimum of graduation in economics is necessary for getting admission in this college. I applied for masters degree post completion of my bachelors course and also had passed with good marks in it as marks plays an important role in selection.
Faculty
The faculty members were always present for us, whenever we had a doubt or issues with regards to college or education. They also guided me towards what I can possibly do after completion of my course in here.
