CIPET offers a blend of academic and skill development program in the field of polymer science so that the students survive in today's competitive work environment.We are exposed to a wide range of technologies in the form of big consultancy firms of tooling,testing&quality assurance,plastics processing , inspection serve related to good quality management and many more.The course curriculum of our college is constantly updated in relation to the industry experts.Lastly CIPET will provide you on a hands on exposure for the work so that you gain competitive advantage over the other industry.

Here we learn about the modern processing techniques and the methods for testing in case of plastics.In the foundation course we are taught about how the polymers are processed and on what basis they are characterized.In the next year we are given major insights about the polymer processing techniques such as vacuum forming, extrusion mold forming,injection molding etc so that we get a "hands-on" learning experience on the equipment which is used in the plastic industry.The duration of the course is three years.

Our college has till now achieved 80-85% of placement record. The remaining 10% are those students who either want to pursue higher degree or become entrepreneurs. Many leading names like Reynolds , Reliance Industries , Napco group of Companies , SSF plastics visited our college campus this year.Mock interviews , group discussion equips us in facing the real life situation . Yes there are various internship programs offered by our college and the stipend for the same ranges from 8000 to 11000 per month.

The fees for the program is 20,000 per semester.You need to pay the examination fees of 200 per practical/theory paper.Admission fees of 1000 is to be submitted at the time of admission. Library fee of 500 per year also needs to be deposited at the start of the semester.I found this fees quite feasible if compared to the other college fees.

The labs of the college are completely digitalis-ed. Conferences and seminars are held at our college on even semesters. Many kinds of events such as holi, bihu , diwali are organised by our student council.Sports tournaments are also held at our college related to various kind of indoor and outdoor activities.

The admissions to this college are done on the basis of CIPET JEE. Other than that you need to have a valid B.Tech/B.E degree with the subjects required.There is no age bar for PGD-PPT. You need to visit the official website of the college and register online.Then login to the portal and fill the necessary details and pay the application fees.Thus you need to wait for the merit list declared by the college. My name was in the second list and thus I was granted admission in the college.

The teachers of this college are highly skilled individual. They have 15+ year of teaching experience.Every doubt on behalf of us are duly met by the teachers.The method of teaching is quite different adopted by by our department teachers so that we get hold of the subject easily.
