Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is standard, including all the important topics that must be studies for a good understanding of the subject matter. The amount of topics that must be studied leaves things a little hectic at the begining. Examinations are regularly held on a yearly basis.
Placement Experience
There are placements for MBBS graduates. Other than hospitals, some other firms also come for recruitment. Among the hospitals, Columbia Asia and Narayana are notable names. Firms such as MedPlus, Sequent and Bioclinica also visit. The college also help us with the mandatory internship, which I am about to begin.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee, of, course, is costly. Not counting hostel fees, it costs about 5.64 lakh rupees for the five-and-a-half year course. That is a high cost for the course, even considering the fact that usually, medical courses cost higher.
Campus Life
There are a number of wrokshops on different topics that are held regularly. Activities such as sports are also common on the campus. There are strict anti-ragging regulations and a grievance cell for students to voice their concerns. The campus rules are strict too, especially for girl students.
Admission
I gave the NEET UG examination, and got this college through the counseling process. The Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences or AIMS falls under the Adichunchanagiri University [ACU]. Good reviews prompted me to take admission here since I got in.
Faculty
The faculty members helped how they could. They taught the theory subjects well, and guided us through the important practicals. They helped us with the delicate processes and operations, as well as with keeping everything in our memory.
