Course Curriculum Overview

As a PGDM, the course is extensively elaborate. It gives you a total concept of the finance system and lets you grasp the job opportunities. It is also research based and you have to do continuous research along with theory.

Placement Experience

Our college has no problem with Placement. Multi-National companies from Accenture to Deloitte visit our campus and hire students with high salary. Internship opportunities are arranged by the college themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is okay kind of. If compared you can afford it than other IIM and ISB. Fees structure is divided into yearly payment. The total program fees ranges between 10 lakh to 15 lakh. You can afford it with loan facility from college.

Campus Life

Extra curriculum activities is great. We have various kinds of sports, poster, debate and cultural competitions. Our college also organizes intra-college competitions. We have a good gender ratio and economic status is fine.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is really good. You need to share a room with 4 persons. The mess and food quality is average. The rooms were cleaned in the weekend. The environment is peaceful. The charges vary with rooms and AC cost.

Admission

Admission is based on entrance exam scores of GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT. You have to sit any for any one of these. Further after qualifying with the cutoff marks you need to report to the college for admission procedure.

Faculty

The faculty is excellent. Each and Every Professor is highly qualified and they are always interested to teach the students. They never miss any classes and help the students to get into the right track.

Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

Admission:

Thiagarajar School of Management being one of the premier institutes in South India and PGDM being its Flagship Program, I had no hesitation in choosing Tsm. The high advantage of PGDM is that you will be involved with a lot of practical sessions rather than classroom learning. Moreover, PGDM is offered only by institutes recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and TSM has been also awarded NBA and NAAC Accreditation. Pgdm is where you can build your soft skills and the curriculum is flexible and does not have to follow university standards and also can be changed by the institutes according to the industry requirements. For admission, You need to take up entrance tests like MAT.CAT,XAT,CMAT and the candidate must have 3 years of bachelor's degree from a recognized university by the UGC. Candidates can apply for admission once the dates are released and the shortlisted candidates need to attend the GD followed by the PI. BA Economics hons MSE review

I wrote CUET but i did not apply to DU because of many reasons out of which delay was a reason. But then i compared the syllabus of DU and MSE and the rigor of MSEs syllabus cannot be matched with any other colleges i applied. I got admitted in few of the local colleges which i kept as a backup, but the staff lore and the syllabus is not as good as MSE. I did not apply to a lot of other colleges. The admission process to MSE is simple. You need to register for MSEET and if you clear the cut off you will be called. 12th marks are not considered at all (you need to pass tho) but they require you to have applied/standard math/ statistics in class 12th. My madras life view

The name of Exam was CUCET which used to occur each yaer in the month if may or June. It was not troublesome on the grounds that it comprises of two sections GK and your picked subject. After that they will take your twelfth Board 40% weight-age and CUCET marks 60% and will finish the outcome. I scored in CUCET was 32 out of 100 yet my twelfth board % was 85% so I got chose.
