Remarks
Though I did not attend it very regularly and did most of my classes virtually, college has left an indelible mark in my mind and heart! It is the place which taught me the basic of business administration and provided me with a clear view of my future.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have a virtual classroom with recorded classes and we are already provided with study materials. We can do the classes at our own pace, which is very useful for someone like me.The exams are taken on a semester basis.
Placement Experience
Placements are great! In fact, if you have decent communication skills and a good academic report to show, then you are good to go. Almost 60% of my classmates were placed last year at MNCs all over India!
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compared to the Tier 1 colleges like IIM and the private MBA colleges, the fee is nominal. I had to pay Rs 23,000 for the whole 2 year course. The payment was taken annually- Rs 11,480 per year for 2 years.
Campus Life
Since it is a distance education centre, a number of students of varied ethnicity study there. There has never been any report of disharmony as most of the faculty make sure we are getting along with each other.
Admission
I was working after my UG and wanted to do my MBA alongside my job and Centre for Distance Education was my best option. I just sent in my marksheet for my B.Sc Economics and applied online. Then my name came up in the merit list.
Faculty
The faculty in our college try to help us out as much as possible. We watch the recorded classes and then if we have any issues and doubts, we instantly let them know via email or on the discussion prompts.
