Everything about the college is good. The teaching, modern infrastructure,classroom environment, hostel accommodation, the labs and practical sessions, and the people are great. It has a great job as a college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is for a duration of 4 years and 6 months with 1 year of internship. The course is buzzing and intense with a lot to learn in theory. Practical sessions are interesting, amusing and fun to learn.
Placement Experience
The college sets up placement fair every year for the graduating students to get hired and primary health care units, private clinics and hospitals come to visit the campus for the same. They recruit a bulk of students and provides a salary fixed by govt of Karnataka.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course is of 4 years and 6 months and the fee per year is 58,556/- INR. The fee is quite feasible as the college is providing the students with a lot of facilities and equipment for the practical lectures.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided to various categories of students by the govt of India and Government of Karnataka. Scheduled castes and Schedule tribes are given various scholarships by government of India including private scholarships.
Campus Life
The college is also supports extra curricular activities and arranges for sports, Computer lab, library for the leisure of the students. There is also an annual fest and and other fests and competitions for the students.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides a hostel with fee of two thousand per month. Students of the same batch share a room. Each room is wifi enabled for the comfort of the students and lift is also provided for the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful and are never hesitant on providing us with any guidance. The Alumni also share some tips and tricks to survive college and use it during our internship period. They are very generous.
Admission
The eligibility criteria to gain admission in the college is minimum 50% marks in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology from a recognized University + NEET UG entrance exam. The seat is primarily based on your NEET score and clearance of eligibility criteria.
Faculty
The faculty is quite an expert and thorough with their respective syllabus and very skilled at teaching. The college has picked out the best of the professors to educate and train the students into becoming good doctors of tomorrow.
