Remarks
The college is well equipped with all the requirements for any engineering course, the atmosphere is also very natural and built up in a large area with greenery. We have students coming from all over India and also some international students. The faculties are experts in the field, The labs are well equipped, Many courses are available, Extracurriculars are also concentrated, The admission process is very easy I recommend to write the entrance test and u can get a good consideration for the seat. The college has a good background of aeronautics, automobile and architecture, well all the other courses are also considered good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, I have chosen the course automobile engineering as I am very interested in the automobile sector and the college also has expertise in this. Coming to the student-teacher ratio it is general 1:50 or 1: 60. Most of the faculties here are industry experts with a pg and some of the faculties doing their pg. Most of the assistant professors are m.tech level Coming to the exams, we have 3 internals out of which one is optional (faculties choice) For the percentage of marks will be considered from assignments, projects, seminars, presentations, surprise tests etc, u need to get at least 50 % to pass For end semester exams a percentage of marks form internals will be considered, u need to pass at least 2 internals to be eligible for the semesters.
Placement Experience
The student will be eligible for the placement from the 3rd year itself. The placements are also good and there are few placement records also, the college has many international and national alumni working in many core companies and brands. The placement rate is around 70-80%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study generally between 1-3 lacks depending on your merit, u can avail easy scholarships by scoring in the entrance test. Sports students have special consideration. No on-campus jobs for students.
Campus Life
The life on the campus is very peaceful with good environment and greenery, lots of greenery. The library is one of the states of art libraries, the best in the state. Digital library is also available. We have fests like annual day Yarona, Vaahana etc, all festivals will be celebrated. The classrooms are well built with space which is more than enough for the students has digital equipment in all the classrooms and we get very good quantity of natural light and fresh air. The college also had many sports facilities like indoor and outdoor courts, gyms tracks grounds There are many student clubs like NSS, Ncc, cycling club, many sports clubs dance clubs etc.
Hostel Facilities
The room ate available as 2 shares or 3 shares with attached and common bathrooms, ac / non-ac are also available. Each room is alloted with sufficient no.of beds, tables and chairs. Has proper lighting and air conditions. The maintenance is also very appreciable. Coming to college food there is no going back with the quality and quantity of food both veg and non veg are provided on a daily basis. The laundry is also available. U also have many pg's and rentals around the college which ate quite affordable.
