Remarks

I selected this college because it is near to my hometown so that I can save hostel fees. It is good college, teaching is also good but there is no water in washrooms other than that no complaints on Management.i have admitted through cet in the year 2017 and I'm studying final year now. And one more drawback is small campus , the is no space to pass time with friends other than canteen and park. Ground is also smaller one only one game can be played at a time.I don't know about other branches but as I'm computer science department I can say teaching is good in computer science department. As my friends from other branches says teaching is not bad at other branches.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choosed engineering because it is my ambition and in engineering I selected computer science and engineering as my department because of my own interest. In this college there are mentoring for students available where one faculty take mentorship of 20 students. Most of all facilities are well qualified exert some fresher faculties and they can improve after getting experience in the field . Teaching is good in computer science department I don't about other departments but as my friends from other departments say it is more than average. As this college is under visveswaraiah Technological University it conducts exams based on the scheme and schedule given by the vtu University. Semester exams will be between June-July for odd semester and in December-January for even semester.

Placement Experience

2.5

After the 6th semester exams students become eligible for campus placements. As I know an average number of companies will visit every year. Some companies like valuelabs, zensar, abyeti technologies etc.. Will visit yearly once. Average package given by the companies is around 4 lakhs perannum. Only around 45 to 50 percent of students got placed last year. My plan after a degree was to get a job and work for a company where there are more opportunities to grow.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is as per the government policy as I'm admitted through cet but me friends who admitted through management say they free is 1,40,000 for first year and 1,20,000 for next the years. As I admitted through cet-quota my fees is 82,000 for first year and 74,800 for next the years. And we have to pay exam fees as semester exams appears according to University norms. Scholarship is given to all obc/sc/st candidates named vidyasiri where 19,000 is given for obc candidates and the is no tuition fees for sc and st candidates.

Campus Life

4

Annual fees is conducted in the name of Shamshodan in the month of March and tech fest is conducted in the name of trigger on the month of October. And branch fest is conducted every odd semester. Library as a large number of books related to technologies and current affairs. Classrooms are maintained well, the is a projector facility for all classes. Chairman's trophy is conducted every year in which all sports are covered in that.

In UVCE placement rate is almost good but we need more effort on self study . Most of the students works in internship in 7 or 8 th sem it means before graduation then they will got good placements. Some of you directly god good placements without working in internship.. Because putting there efforts..
