Remarks

They can provide coolers for each room because it's so hot there in Trichy.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is kind of ok. There are few courses like data structures and professional English which are good for professionals. You can learn in labs also. My advice is to maintain a decent cgpa and gain expertise in the stream where you want placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements start in July. Many companies like NetApp, cisco, Oracle, Amazon, thoughtworks, microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Adobe, sapient visited our campus. Approximately all the students in my branch got good placements.

College Events

3.5

There are festivals like pragyan and festember held in college. Festember is a cultural event while pragyan is a technical festival. Students have an opportunity to showcase their skills and expertise during these festivals. Students from different colleges come and attend the festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is very transparent. We know in advance about how much we have to pay as academic and mess fee. Fee may vary for different semesters. Mode of payment accepted is demand draft or cheque. In case you don't use mess you get the money as refund at the end of final semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't apply or look for scholarship opportunities in college. As I remember there was scholarship opportunity for students from sc and st categories.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is good. I din't like weather in Trichy. It's too hot there. There are many girls coming to this college from north india. I will say the gender ratio is 65-35 in college. There were many clubs for games and sports. There was cricket tournament ruby cup held every year. Robotics competition was held during pragyan.

Hostel Facilities

3

I had opted for hostels. In first year it was 4 sharing room. In second year 3 sharing while in third and final year it was 2 sharing room. Each hostel has an assigned mess. Every student has an opportunity to opt for hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Well seniors were helpful during college. They used to help with their books and other sort of notes.

Admission

Admission is given through aieee exam. After achieving good air in the exam you have to appear for counseling. You have to give your choices and next day college allocation is done. Then you have to report to the allocated college on the date of reporting.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of college is kind of ok. In computer science and engineering there were approximately 20 professors who were taking classes from 2nd year to final year. Few of them are really good in their areas and they can help you in gaining deep understanding in that particular subject.

Over 220 companies typically visit the campus, including top recruiters like Amazon, Cognizant, and TCS. While the highest package has reached ?27 LPA, the average package usually stands around ?4.5 LPA. After graduation, many students secure roles in technical and management domains or pursue higher studies but I will try for deffenc and bharath university as NCC
