Remarks

The university has more than 35,000 students & the good thing about it is that the social life in our campus is very chilled out. The bad thing about our faculty is they need to work on their adminstration & can improve some of the basic amenities like AC rooms, wifi & library that can & will help budding lawyers to not waste their time.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum & exam structure are very relevant & taken in terms of presentations as they help in building the vocal skills for a profession like law, then theory based examinations. Internal Examinations, Presentations & Theory based examinations are appropriate for our course.

Placement Experience

3

The placements of our university is above average because we have the second best fine arts faculty in Asia. When it comes to our faculty some of our senior have cracked the corporate sector very well. We have 5 compulsory internships starting from the district court to the Supreme Court/Parliament of India. I have done internships in NGO, District Court & a Tier 2 law firm.

College Events

4

A profession like law has to have debates, moot courts, seminars & what not. Our faculty has always tried hard to interact & give the budding lawyers exact amount of exposure they need in this field. All types of cultural events are organised. Some awareness camps, magazine launch, moot court competition are held for the betterment of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. Comparing it to a Private Law College, the annual fees is less than what they pay for their quarterly semester fees. Private Law Colleges take upto 2-2.5 lakh as annual fees. A college like MSU provides great exposure & provide ample amount of knowledge with lots of experience as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not availed any benefits regarding any scholarship. As the fees is feasible people who are not able to afford this amount of money or people of backward castes have availed for scholarship. People can pay their fees in two different installments as well.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is pretty relaxed to be honest. There are a few canteens with quality food in lunch breaks for us, the city is surrounded by MSU & it's faculties. Sports, Competitions are always coming on our head one after the other. The fests, the sponsors help the students to get better exposure of the world outside our college.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No, I have not opted for hostel as the conditions were not so good when I came in here as a fresher. Now they are quite well settled & people get the hostels according to merit lists & for whichever hostel they want to apply they can.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors have always been helpful, whether we have a competition like debate, poster, slogan or anything. They give us the notes, suggestions on how to write exams, research papers & what not. The firms they work in or the chamber they are in they help us get through an internship by recommending our names directly to the HR which is very beneficiary.

Admission

I was interested in cricket from my childhood & had a great academy which would help me in building both my law career & cricket career better. I came to know about the entrance exams & dates by a super senior already in college & was also a senior in my school.

Faculty

3

We have around 5-6 subjects in each semester having more than 1 teachers for them. They have enough calliber & knowledge with a great experience of their field. Some of them are PHDs & some of them are renowned lawyers in their fields which helps us as students to pursue & find appropriate knowledge from them.

The average package is around 8-10 lakhs and there are ample opportunities however I don't know the details but I'm confident that people who are performing well and want to make something of themselves, they can do so.

Placement Experience:

In a law firm, there are no placements you have to get knowledge and then you can go to practice under any lawyer whichever you want and then you can do an internship in under of that lawyer. And you can stay in your own firm also. My plans for after passed out to practice under a very prestigious lawyer and get experience.

The college management is good but the pressure is very hard because they're a lot of things in law college and you cannot take everything so there is always an opportunity cost in it which a student has to choose but for this also the seniors and the management supports a student.
