Remarks

Not, only placement assistance should be strong emphasis. Internship to be provide. Not bad remarks but inviting well experienced teaching faculty to take take class etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Not relevant due to fresh faculty to built up their careers and not having well advanced teaching experience and also involved exam helping mode for semester clearance. Good name for highlighting college background in public society.Creating cultural events by inviting actor and actress to disrupt study among students and also by inviting fake campus admitting admiring or demanding for money among youngsters.Only nearby industry visits within low budget within 50 km. Distance approach.

Placement Experience

0.5

Not good. A few students got industrial job by their own hardship but not provided by college. No placement provided by college at all Nor given steps for improving.

College Events

3

Fashion show, dance events, sometimes cillege festival, Alumini meetings organized by inviting past seniors for motivating fresh students about their career path. Artits, singers performing for awareness enhancing upon students. Various competing organized among students to built up their confidence, sports also organized in among students. Various nearby scientists invites to encourage the students. Projects are designed in each section or trade among students. Ramp show and stage show prepared to test among students creativity etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very cost in 2008 to 2012 years.Rs.55000 PM in years aprox.7 lakh. If any argument then just some of money got relaxed.Additionally they charge tuition fees and fake campus drive fees.Fee structure some college demanding high but growth level is low that's why students after passed out confusing which type of job they approach for growth and high demands in industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not opted for scholarship due to I have moderate knowledge of scholarship I did know. Some students have got scholarship but did hard to know by my friends.

Campus Life

4

Very tough. Very rare middle class students have been admission. Good campus. Good environment. Main high way side road. Students when comes bored they uplift on stair to go on roof of college and discuss among them them for their study and play with them, chatting boys and girls in campus, enhancing couples in campus for enhancing their life. In class various practical have done. Various projects done etc.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No in market nearby college I.e transport fees taken by college for giving accorded transport service to students. Various bus provided by college to give service to reach college and return after end of class to home.

Alumni/Alumna

I have not attended any Alumni yet as per view but listen from my friends because after end of my course I leave for searching job in market.

Admission

By appearing Jee 2008 batch and enrolled through getting valid score and also motivated by the admission counselor. Factor for choosing the college at that time is considering short distance from home and aspiring by admission counselor to take admission and neighbor friend consultation.

Faculty

3

There are 4 or five lectures have been attached to our trade with moderate knowledge of them. There are is in between 22 to 60 years.Good but not at all only fresher and students got bored and less practical at that time was provided. Not hands on experience.

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University - [SOA], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Jan 9, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Relevance & Comprehensiveness (Rating: 7/10) The course curriculum at SOA is updated frequently compared to state government colleges. Why I chose this: I was attracted to the fact that the syllabus includes modern electives like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics starting from the 3rd year itself, rather than waiting for the final semester. Real-world Prep: The curriculum is designed largely to crack placement interviews. There is a heavy focus on Aptitude and Core Coding subjects (DS/Algo) which helps in getting a job. However, for deep research or R&D roles, the theoretical depth is sometimes lacking. 2. Areas for Improvement Teaching Methods: A major issue is the reliance on PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs). Many faculty members just read off the slides. I would prefer more "Whiteboard Teaching" for mathematical and logic-based subjects. Lab Records: We spend hours handwriting practical records/files which are just copied from the manual. This is a waste of time. This time should be used for live coding projects or hackathons. Outdated Subjects: First-year students (even in CS/IT) are forced to learn heavy mechanical/civil concepts. While basics are good, the depth of these non-core subjects should be reduced. 3. Exam System & Difficulty Frequency: It is quite hectic. We have 2 semesters a year. Each semester has 2 Internal Assessments (Quizzes/Mid-sems) and 1 End-Semester Exam. Basically, you have an exam every 1.5 to 2 months. Difficulty: The exams are Easy to Moderate. It is not very difficult to pass. If you study the "Class Notes" and "Previous Year Questions" for 3-4 days before the exam, you can easily score an 8.0 SGPA. The checking is lenient for passing, but strict if you are aiming for a 9.5+ SGPA.

I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Gandhi Engineering College (GEC Autonomous), Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Dec 22, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.
