My college

I think vignan's University is one of the best universities but it is expensive for middle class people.

There are 8 semesters. From 3 rd semester onwards we used to have project works. Our faculty used to help in choosing the best technology and emerging projects. We can go for an internship either in 7th semester or 8th semester. We can choose our own company or they will provide us with a company.

Our university has very good placements cell. They collaborate with placements cells of other universities. More than that they used to know the requirements of the companies and train us accordingly. They also bring 3 rd party trainers for more knowledge of particular technologies.

I vignan's University we will celebrate almost every festival which is intercollege level. They will celebrate srujanankura Mahotsav which is both technical and cultural competition. It is a state level competition. Many students from different colleges across different states participate in that competition.

Nowadays fee of vignan's University is expensive. But it's worthy. As I got a 25 % fee concession it is reasonable for me. But we can also avail loans. For further process, we can approach the finance department and they will guide us the process. If you are one of the top 10 branch toppers of that year they will give you a 50% fee for that year.

I am eligible for a 25 % scholarship in the college. Still, there are many scholarship programs available in university based on merit criteria. I didn't avail any study loan but we can opt for study loans. The finance department of vignan's University will guide you.

Mostly the gender ratio is equal. There are students from other states, other countries. There will be seminars, guest lectures going on frequently on many topics. We can find the details on inter campus TVs which are placed all around. Mostly our college chairman LAVU RATHAYA GARU invites guests to our college for best guest lectures.

I stayed at vignan's University hostel. It is expensive. For Ac, it is Rs.1,25,000 per year and for Non Ac it is 95,000 per year. But they maintain it very clean. Food is awesome. You cannot find such good food and facilities in any college hostels. There are doctors available. Lecturers available for study hours for 1 st year. Good playgrounds, good coaches, good wifi. Especially Food is awsome.

This is negative about vignan that mostly we don't have interactions with seniors because due to anti ragging rules we were placed on different blocks on campus and in hostels.

B.Tech is emerging and is one of the best course. I had chosen vignan's University because it is a private university with the best education, best placements, best environment in Andhrapradesh. Finally, it fulfilled its promise by providing the best education and I got placed in one of India's largest IT MNC company. I feel proud to be alumni of vignan's University.

Most of our lecturers are postgraduates from IITs and IIITS. They continue their researches in our college. Most of the published their researches. They even go to other countries for attending conferences. They deeply learn the subject and teach us the subject from scratch.
