Remarks
It was near to my house and also a very good college nearby and also was recommended by a senior friend. The professors are well educated and knowledgeable. Also it is more convenient to travel and has good quality equipments.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a good course as it is a professional degree course. Curriculum is more than the minimal knowledge required and gives adequate knowledge about the course. Faculty is a bit over strict as they think they can do whatever they feel to do so. Which is wrong but there are other professors who are supportive enough.
Internships Opportunities
The internship was offered in PPI a small scale production unit in Navi Mumbai MIDC area. It was an unpaid internship and no stipend was offered.
Placement Experience
The companies in nearby MIDC areas were called up for placements. None of the companies were mildly satisfactory for the job they were offering. Worst placement cell in the region. Packages offered externally were better than those offered in placement program.
College Events
Extracurricular activities are not encouraged as the main focus of the college is on pressuring the students to study more and enjoy the college life a little less. Technical events are organized quaterly and participation is lesser than average.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are worst and in broken conditions. Library is huge but of no use as studying in library is not allowed. Labs are well equipped but the equipments are not maintained. They are not cleaned enough.
