Remarks

My course is noble, popular, lucrative and boasts of job security. An inbuilt urge to serve the society and heal people's pain drove me to pursue the course. I was alloted my college via the official process of medical counselling following NEET(the pre medical entrace examination in India).

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My college syllabus is in sync with the curriculum regulated by West Bengal University of Health Sciences(WBUHS) as the former is affiliated to the latter. My college is academically proficient in general parameters. Faculty is quite professional.

Placement Experience

5

Our arena of work doesn't involve any placement. Private practice and/or government or corporate jobs rely on individual caliber. Our college has quite a few notable personalities in its alumni association. Most of its passouts are well established in their domain of work.

College Events

4.5

Campus life is largely confined to the hospital, its OPD, Emergency and the academic building. Our college and hospital are known for their technical stronghold. However, the campus is quite ornamental and posh. There is reasonable exposure to co curriculars in our annual college fest and sports throughout the session. We are encouraged to participate in inter college tournaments. It promotes our holistic participation in cultural activity by its frequent collaborations with Kolkata Book fair, Khaibar Pass, BCCI, etc. All festivals are celebrated enthusiastically in our campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In childhood, I had braces which influenced me to be a Dentist. I had a very bad alignment of teeth, I went to an Orthodontist and he made my smile look good and from that day I decided to be a dentist. This curriculum will make a person or the pursuer a dentist at the end of the course. After that, you can prepare for NEET PG or any other courses or Government Job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dental curriculum is interesting as well as challenging at the same time . It motivates us also shows how difficult it is to perform artistry and bring a smile onto a patients mouth. Exams are conducted in a gap of every 3 months and helps us to evaluate ourselves.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a professional course, and there is still demand. There are 9 departments in the college itself and each has 5-8 teachers. Medical subjects are taught by Medical College Kolkata and their respective departments. Majority of the faculty are post graduate and most are more or less adept at what they do. Final exams are conducted by the WBUHS, and they keep changing the timings of the sessions.

Most of the students who have good marks in every exam get placed in the best places across the state and country. They get a good handsome salary. My plans after the degree are either doing a master's or applying for various jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is 3 internal exam and 1 professional exam on the last of the year. On the first year, there is 4 subject, every 200 marks including theory and practical, the pass marks is 50% of it and the required college attendance (75%) is too important, we have to clear the eligible marks to get on the next year. As we all know medical science is not so easy, so we always had to work hard to pass or getting good marks.
