J J Magdum is also one of the best college for engineering affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. College has good campus environment, well educated staff and secure transport facility as well as better infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very tough as Shivaji University has syllabus based on theory contents. Along with that our college arranges many company meetups, startup events, webinars, workshop series. College is working on students skill quality. Faculties have completed Mtech and some of them have completed PhD.

the good news for our college placement is that we are growing since last 3 years. And still now, 400+ students gets placed in academic year 2019. Our TPO Mr. Touhid Jamadar sir is the President of Maharashtra State Training and Placemet group. Their contribution plays important role in our placement records

J J Magdum CoE, is located outside of Jaysingpur city. And, we have fresh environment in our campus due to more trees planted in our campus every year under the "Tree Plantation Campaign". Our student associations are busy in arranging some fantastic national level events for students.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible mostly after 7th semester. Various Companies like Accenture, CapGemini, JP MOrgan visit the campus. the highest pakage for this year was 19LPA and the average package was 7LPA in my opinion. 90 percent students got placed this year I will be geting placed as well after degree.

After 6th semester student can apply for job in campus placement. There are so many companies like Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Flipkart, IBM, and so many avg package given is of 300000 rs and highest is of 1800000 rs. The percentage of student got placement of last year is 70% as per my information. My plan after degree is to doing job that I got in campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Majorly the college placement is good for mining atudents they get nearly 7 lakhs package average. Other departments also placement is good but now a days the cse department placements are not to good in this college . Electronics and electrical students gets placed on avg package pf 3.5 lakhs yr And some students gets free internships from here .

Big college with less facilties

Remarks:

Being a computer engineering student no facilities are there in labs. No computers are in working condition. We complaint many times but then too there was no change in the labs.
