Remarks

The college provided me with many extracurricular activities equal to academics. I came out of my comfort zone and felt very comfortable to be in college. My professors all were friendly and helped me out in all aspects of the college. I got into the college with my +2 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college had a semester pattern like 2 for a year. I choose the course to get into IT field. Faculty take us to lab to teach us which with all very important topics. They practice us to learn codings on our own.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 482000 per year

Placement Experience

Students can attend placements in off-campus with the requirement of the companies. The college campus placement we get schools and other training institutes where few companies give us the opportunity to learn PG in correspondence and work in their institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee is moderately good compared to all the other colleges. There are many governments as well as Management scholarships to be availed for the students.

Campus Life

The campus is really good with all the facilities for a student. Library, classrooms, Computer labs are all easily available. The college also gives more importance to the Sports and Cultural Fest. We have ground facilities and if few students are given special training in sports to make them achieve in greater heights. The college also takes students to the cultural fest and other Inter-college Competitions. The library consist of a small browsing center for the use of students.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, it is good. They provide us healthy foods and give evening tea and snacks. The mess is also located inside the campus and it is walk able distance only to the campus. It is a both vegetarian and Nonvegetarian mess.

Thiagarajar School of Management - A Heaven like Institute

Admission:

Thiagarajar School of Management being one of the premier institutes in South India and PGDM being its Flagship Program, I had no hesitation in choosing Tsm. The high advantage of PGDM is that you will be involved with a lot of practical sessions rather than classroom learning. Moreover, PGDM is offered only by institutes recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and TSM has been also awarded NBA and NAAC Accreditation. Pgdm is where you can build your soft skills and the curriculum is flexible and does not have to follow university standards and also can be changed by the institutes according to the industry requirements. For admission, You need to take up entrance tests like MAT.CAT,XAT,CMAT and the candidate must have 3 years of bachelor's degree from a recognized university by the UGC. Candidates can apply for admission once the dates are released and the shortlisted candidates need to attend the GD followed by the PI. Candidates from Tamil Nadu can take up the state level entrance examination TANCET and students can apply for counseling and selected candidates are exempted from the GD/PI process and can directly take up admission.

TS< chooses the best candidate for the college. The college accepts MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT and TANCET exams. I applied for admission through my MAT scores and I was eligible to attend the PI and GD.
