Yes my subjects are very much related to the course which I'm studying and its bery much helpful for securing a place in campus placements Yes the college will organize several industrial visits during the course period I've went to 4 shipyards during the time

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Placement Experience

Some of the popular shipping companies that comes to my college are Maersk Synergy L&T AP Moller And many more They have an direct face to face interview for the selection of campus interviews Around 70% of students are placed on campus interviews And my college will give special training on how the interview is gonna happen before 1 month of the campus interviews

College Events

We have several events like the whole college culturals and department culturals and syposium with some extra curricular activities and we have some regional festivals also like pongal, onam, deepavali, holi etc These festivals are celebrated very grandly with full support from the institution

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college has only marine related studies so they'll be quite expensive as the Marine field is an expensive one and they accept all mode of payment like cash card google pay bank transfer cheques etc There is no charges to secure an admission and yes they provide transparency in the fee breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't opted for any scholarship or educational loan so I don't know the process.

Campus Life

My college has a big clean and very beautiful campus and the gender ratio is like 50:10 boys to girls and they will treat all the same way there is no ragging racism religion or sexual disturbances There is also no politics inside the college And everyone are treated the same

Its one of the best colleges for marine related studies. The admission process is by writing entrance exam First we have to go to the college and they'll give some form we have to fill all the necessary details there and we have to select the course which we are interested and submit it after that they will conduct the entrance examination

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

Nice environment, Student support system, living in a whole different world.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. Structured comfort and seafaring discipline.

First off all, i didn't apply to any other colleges, then for addmission, they took very long to intimate the dates, again and again I was calling one of the faculty and was asking for dates. Management is responsible for providing information.to the students. While admission, first they asked to pay an advance amount of rs. 25000/- from the course fees i.e rs. 300000/- to confirm my seat. Then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs. 40000/- which was not available then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs 50000/- to confirm the hostel.
