The overall college is too good. The facilities provided are very good though it lacks in research areas. More work should be done to motivate students to work in the research areas.

The courses curriculum is mostly driven towards learning the basic and advanced concepts of Computer Science. Last two semesters are mostly involves students to do their research work by doing a project under a professor which involves research related topic.

The placements of our college are very good. The internship is organised before the placements. Internship is organised around September and placements is organised in December. The placements for computer science student is 100 percentage.

Techniche, Alcheringa, Kriti, Manthan and there are many more events. Techniche is a technical event in which from all over India students from different college come and participate. Under techniche, Technothlon is organised which is 6-12 students examination. The top 50 students are asked from all over India are asked to come to participate in techniche and winner gets to have a trip at NASA for 3 days. Alcheringa is cultural fest. It is one of the biggest cultural fest organised by a students community in India.

The fee structure for UG students is 1.4 lacs per semester. It is a little more than it should be but seeing the infrastructure and services provided by IITG to the students its not that much compared to the private colleges. Apart from this there are no extra fees required and there is total transparency in the free breakdown.

The college offers different type of scholarship. There are few goverment based scholarship programs as well. Few are based on your performance and few are based on your family earning. For students whose family annual income is less than 3 lacs, tution fees is waived completely.

The campus life at IITG is too good. The campus of IITG is most beautiful campus in India which is covered with beauty of nature. The labs are designed keeping the need of students in mind. There are many clubs like coding club, robotics clubs, entrepreneurship club, movie club, dance club and so on which time to time host many completions which make the life at IITG enjoyable.

Yes, hostel is the only means to stay at IITG. The hostel facility is too good. The fees for staying at hostel is included in the fees mentioned about and is around 22000 for whole semester. The rooms are single seater and each room is equipped with lan facility.

Being a young University, the alumni network of IITG is still developing. We have completed 20 years of iitg in the last year. The alumni are very helpful. The alumni connection cell time to time hosts different connect session with many alumni our colleges.

I got the admission by clearing IIT JEE Advanced. Admission process involves jee main, jee advanced and then counseling process. Students must clear jee main and jee advanced to appear in counselling process. Jee main is a two step exam, one happens in December and other in April whereas Jee Advanced is a two paper exam which happens in May.

The faculty of our college is very helpful. The lectures provided by them are very insightful and helpful in learning new concepts. Most of the professors provide enough lectures and materials for better understanding of the concepts. You can also opt for a project under any professor in any semester of the curriculum.
