Great College Affordable Fees

Great college. Very good placement. Needs to improve on the hostel and a bit on the faculty.

I had cleared MAT with 88 percentile and applied for a few colleges in Bangalore. I cleared GD PI in Acharya and had heard well about its placement, So decided to enroll here.

The course curriculum was from AIMA. It was quite extensive and concentrated more on the practical uses of the theories. Good industrial examples were provided for each topic.

Advan Technologies, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, Advinus Therapeutics were some of the colleges that came for internship. I completed my internship from VWR and received a stipend of Rs. 6000 for 5 months.

Placements were good, However, one student was only allowed to apply for one company. In case he/she was not able to qualify the interview, second chance was provided.

I paid 4,50000 for the PGDM program. However, I think the fees have been revised to 800000 or more now. Students get education loans easily to study in this college.

I availed a scholarship of 10000 Rupees from AIMA. I am not aware of the scholarships that were being provided by Acharya itself.

Lots of extracurricular activities were held at regular intervals. Almost all the national festivals were celebrated with several competitions like painting competition, rangoli competition etc

Hostel rooms were not great. two and three sharings were available. I used to pay 5500 including food.

Seniors were great and helpful. Helped us through exams and notes. They were not bully but quite friendly in nature. They not only shared their notes but also helped anytime required.

Exams were quite frequent with lots of reexams and pre-exams. the days used to be quite hectic in between classes and exams. However, I feel the exams were useful in getting us prepared for the semester exams.

Faculty was good, helpful and always available for support. However, I feel the subject knowledge were missing in few of the faculty members and needs to be improved.
