Review of SVKM's NMIMS MPSTME

Attendance is the only bad thing here, strictly 80% attendance policy. but all the other things are good, management is helpful whenever you need them.

The course curriculum is great, i had learned all the necessary theory along with the practical knowledge of subjects. The things(technical skills) we learned through out our course helped us in getting placed very easily, additionally we are provided the placement training (soft skills) in our pre final year which was also very much helpful.

The on Campul placement at NMIMS are just great specially for computer science stream which i belong to there are 100% placements with an average salary of approximately 4 lpa. Sadly i had not availed any internship as i used to do something different in my vacations (eg. Trading/independent projects/social work etc)

Ambiora- tech event there is a one week technical event named Abiora is celebrated in our college where we have a lot of exposure and fun. Protsahan- cultural event this is also a one week event celebrated in our college, in this we get exposure to the cultural and fun activities like dance/music/games etc there are many events celebrated through out the year eg. Hackathons, music nights, poet conferences (professors amuses us in this event) Flavium- sports event this is the best time of the year, there are games everywhere (football/volleyball/basketball/cricket/tennis/chess/badminton/kabaddi/tug of war and many more) each branch fight for the trophy (ps;) Computer science wins)

As it a top class private institute this is lil bit expensive, but if you compare with the facilities provided it is decent package. the fee is 160000 per year (academic) it is the fee for 2016-2020 batch, probably it is increased now. This is the average fee of any good private institute in India for this course.

NO, i have not opted for any scholarship as i did not performed good in my +2, therefore I don't know if any scholarships are available or not.

i have enjoyed these 4 years of my life, the gender ratio is 1:3 here which is a bad thing. but all the students are so good here mostly from Mumbai and indore and yeah so many Gujaratis here. there are so many Extra curricular activities we have done from celebrating ganpati(managing the whole event is in the hands of students) hackathons/robo wars etc are organised frequently

Yes. the hostels are just great, I'd say the best in India. there is no lack of hostel seats as it is the residential campus(Shirpur) 4 students share a room which is pretty spacious so no problem there. we are provided with one bed one desk and one cupboard, the Cleaning of room is done daily and the sheets(Chadar) and the towels are washed weekly. For other clothes there is a good laundry service (excluded from fee). and the food is good too, we get breakfast, lunch and dinner.

a good alumni network, i had not tried to get help from those yet so I don't know. but I'll be helpful for sure.

An entrance exam called NPAT is organised by NMIMS university for admission at under graduate level. I had given the NPAT exam in 2016, this exam consist of aptitude and verbal ability. The first thing i found out is the placements of NMIMS which turned out to be true. The second thing, hostel life and the Architecture of campus amused me which also turned out to be true and i do not regret choosing this college to spend the 4 years of my life.

The faculties are average for most subjects but they have sufficient knowledge to serve. About the core subjects which are the base of any course we get the best lecturers. The resources we are provided were great specially the library we are guided to do research work along with our course work which is also helpful for further studies in technology.
