Out college provides all facilities like bus facility, canteen facility, departmental stores, xerox & printer facilities etc in our college placements are very good only one minus point according to me is some what less infrastructure.

I took EAMCET exam as my entrance exam i got 3000 rank in that entrance eamcet exam i like computers more than the other subjects like physics, english so I joined in computers branch in gvp college at visakhapatnam .

I got seat in G.V.P COLLEGE at Visakhapatnam. I took computers science branch i like little bit of programming but I am somewhat fear about programming. Course is somewhat tough and difficult and different also faculty is good and they will move freely for clarifying doubts.

Companies will come in during the 4th year maxmimun most of the top companies are came as per previous years. High package companies also provided to our college so many members are placed in MNC companies also some companies like solivar, terradata, kony provided internship and stipend is between 15k to 20k.

Companies like TCS, wipro, IBM, Tech mahendra, Infosys, etc, last year approximately above 60% students are placed in information technologyand computerscience. This year in computer science approximately above 75% are placed and more it companies are coming and less core companies for civil and mechanical.

Last year college conducts festival named EKATHRA in that festival we conducted lot of technical and cultural activities like paper presentation, essay writing competition, rangoli competition, flash mob, dance programs and so many games other colleges are also visited our college and participated actively in that event.

Scholarships are provided for minority groups I.e., for BC, SC, SE. They got 2,500 per yearly. Fees reimbursement is also provided to those categories. Fees reimbursement is also provided to whose annual income is below 1 lakh for all categories. Education loans also provided for those who are necessity.

Gender ratio in computer science and information technology: boys-40% and girls-60%. In other branches boys were 70% and girls were 30%. Campus life is enjoying and interesting gvp college is good in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, labs, sports, competitions, robotics, debates etc., finally campus life is good.

I am not a hostlee i am a day scholar but I heard that college hostel is good in hostel there are 4 members per room. Beds are provided separately for each student for morning they provide breakfast and milk, for afternoon they provide lunch, for evening they provide snacks and milk again in night they provide dinner hostel food is good. Hostel fees is 50,000 per head.

Seniors to alumni network i have good experience in that alumni network. Our seniors gave a valuable information to us and which companies were coming, how the procedure was and so many things. We interacted with seniors and asked so many doubts about placements.
