Remarks

Thanks for giving me a good lifetime experience. Additional I would request to upgrade your course and exam system. Please celebrate the creativity in the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was too extensive in my experience. I studied a lot of unrelated subjects which I never needed to apply in the industry. The exam structure is very much school-like. You need to remember everything to get good marks in the college. The exam structure is totally irrelevant and it was surely not research-driven. I would say that the exams played a very little role in shaping me a better professional. Our curriculum is definitely not groomed enough to provide industry-specific knowledge. The course was very old age. There were very few industry visits organized by our college.I had just 1 opportunity for industrial visit.

Placement Experience

2

Placement drive of my college was very average. Just 8 or 9 core IT Companies came to our college. They were too offering very low package. Companies which came were Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Hexaware technology, Byjus( for Business Associate), and some small cap IT firms. The steps followed in the recruitment driver were- First there was an Aptitude test, then a technical test and lastly technical plus HR interview. Approximately 30% of the students from our college got placed from our campus. Our college did some additional arrangements to prepare the students for the placement season. We had some aptitude class along with some personality development classes. The preparation sessions for the drive was good.

College Events

3

In our college, we celebrated annual festivals and technical festivals. Our technical festival was named as Kronos. There were many events in Kronos. A lot of guest lecturers are invited to provide some valuable information about Environment sustainability and Global warming. Almost 2000 persons participate in the Kronos every year. It was a huge event for our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure was a little experience for a middle class person. It was Rs 1,15,000 per year. The hostel fees was also Rs 96,000. The program fee was Rs 1,15,000. College accepted every mode of payment including online banking, UPI payment or cash. There was no additional fees to secure an addmission to my course. There was transparency in the fee-breakdown. There was no unknown charges by our college. There was a proper break down for the program fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no scholarship provided by the college. Initially, they offered a scholarship for the students who achieved more than 80% marks in 12th class. Later, they backtracked about their promise. Later they said that students who had 80% marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics will get the scholarship. The scholarship amount would be Rs 20000.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio was very poor. I would say a gender ratio of 7:3. Girls were very less in our college. There were some cultural societies in our college. We had some foreigners in our college too. They had a cultural group among themselves. Our college was very diverse. We had students from all part of the country. There were students from Afganistan and Zambia too. In my view, I would say students were very tolerant with regards to race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. About politics, there were some intolerance among some elements in our college. There was little politics between them. In general, everyone were kind to eachother and respect their beliefs. On economic status, there were some show-offs. But none disregarded anyone if they are of low income family. I had never seen a case of intolerance based on economic status.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet happens very rarely. The seniors which I have interacted with were very helpful and supporting. They gave me proper advice about how to prepare for product based companies.

Admission

I got a call from ITM University, Gwalior for an interview and a written test. I appeared in the test and qualified for the interview. I was asked about my 12 results and favourite subjects. They asked me about the branch I wanted to choose. I chose Computer Science as my branch. I chose that college because of their infrastructure and quality of the professors. One of my seniors was studying there. I asked him about the college and he gave very positive reviews. That's why I decided to enroll myself into ITM University.

Faculty

4

The faculty of my college was very good. They always try to solve our issue. They always listen to our problems and suggest solutions like a proper guide. There were 20 lecturers in my course. Their average age would be around 34. All of them were at least masters in technology and some were PhD too. The head of department was a PhD. About the expertise in providing clarity about the subject, I would rate them very highly. They had proper subject knowledge. Most of the professors were well experienced. Very few lecturers had any relevant industry-specific experience. But they had certification in the relevant subjects.

Placement Experience:

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Placement Experience:

In my college, students become eligible for campus placements from the pre-final year itself (generally from the 5th or 6th semester), which gives them ample time to prepare and participate in the recruitment process. The placement cell of the college is highly active and dedicated, consistently bringing in a wide range of reputed companies from different sectors such as IT, core industries, finance, and consulting. Every year, numerous well-known companies visit the campus and collectively make a significant number of offers, ensuring that students get diverse career opportunities. The college has an impressive placement record, with competitive salary packages offered across various profiles. The highest package offered has been remarkably attractive, reflecting the quality of students and training provided, while the average package is also quite satisfactory and ensures a stable start to students’ careers. The roles offered range from technical positions like software developer and engineer to non-technical roles such as management trainee and analyst, giving students flexibility based on their interests and skills. A good percentage of students secure placements every year, which clearly highlights the strong industry connections and the effectiveness of the training and placement cell. The college also provides continuous support in terms of aptitude training, mock interviews, personality development sessions, and skill enhancement programs, which significantly boost students’ confidence and employability. As far as my future plans are concerned, after completing my degree, I aim to secure a good position through campus placement in a reputed organization where I can apply my knowledge, gain practical experience, and grow professionally. In the long term, I aspire to enhance my skills further and achieve a responsible position in my field, contributing meaningfully to the organization and society. Overall, the placement opportunities and career support provide

Placement Experience:

Placements are based on the training as some students opt out. The companies these days have an assessment test and it's because of that they choose the candidates. That is followed by an interview and our department prepares us for that and those who does well or showcase themselves well get in excess of 10 lakhs easily.

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .
