Remarks

I credit my college to A+ grade since they are best in everything. They excel in everything they do. They need to be recognized throughout India.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum starts from a easy programming language with some basic mathematics. As it is continued we will learn some tough and advanced programming languages. Both frontend and backend programming will be taught. The curriculum provides the basic foundation for the particular subject so that it is very easy to clear any on-campus placements. The exam pattern is as per the madras university since my college is affiliated to madras university. Since we had a lot of internals, it was very easy to clear the main exams and since we had a good foundation, it made us a better professional in the industry.

Placement Experience

4.5

Some of the companies visited are Sitel, RR Donnelly, Ntrust, etc. Our college afford to place us only in multinational companies. The companies usually has aptitude round, group discussions and face to face. About 40 - 60 percent of students gets placed each year. The institution gives special training to the students who are attending the campus drive. The staffs of different departments gives training on aptitude, general qualities etc.

College Events

4.5

We have cultural programs namely Kalakiran and Chainika. Students from many colleges comes and participates in different competitions. It is one of the biggest festival that we celebrate in our college. We also celebrate all the religious festivals like Christmas, Ramzan, Pongal etc. We also celebrate college day, our college founder's birthday, graduation day etc. As I belong to CS dept, we also conduct a lot of competitions like program debugging etc where other college students also participates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My program fees starts from Rs.45,000 per year and decreases by each semester. The mode of fee can be through cash, cheque or cards. There are no additional fees or charges collected in order to make an admission in the college. Defenitely there is a fee-breakdown where they split the amount collected.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offers a lot of scholarship opportunities to the students. Starting from minority scholarship to merit scholarship. They also provide free course to some needy students. Eligibility depends on what scholarship we apply for. I haven't applied for any scholarship in my college.

Campus Life

4.5

Since this is a women's college there can't be any gender ratios between the students. There is no race or religion partiality for the students. Equality is given to every person in the college. The college doesn't have any politics between students and they also don't encourage on that. Economic status also doesn't matter to study in the college as there are many scholarships available for the students.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is no hostel facilities available in our college. Basically the college admits students who are staying around 10kms where it is easy to travel. In case some students are from different districts, they can take PG's around where the rents are much lower compared to other places in Chennai.

Alumni/Alumna

College has alumni association. Yearly once all the alumnies are gathered to talk about the improvements and achievements of the college. The college seniors also help in training us in some of the activities and competitions held in the college.

Admission

I was a computer science student since my school days (Hsc). I wanted to continue my studies in the field of computer science. So first of all I choosed my field of study. Then when I started searching for college, my school management suggested the college because my college and school belongs to the same management. After getting my results, I went there to get my admission form. After I filled and gave the form. I was called for an face to face interview where my course HOD was asking some basic questions. Then they gave me the prospectus and I paid the fees and joined. Admissions usually takes place in the months between Apr to Jun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography, the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate, which helps in consistent preparation, however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning, and modern teaching methods

Placement Experience:

Placement is little dull in this college due to students nature , most of the Students are move to higher education. They offer Placement in the final year if you are interested just apply for it. Moreover you can use the college brand name to get job opportunities outsides. My plan after completing my degree is move for post graduation and to clear any competitive examination. The highest placement in the college is upto 13lakh per annum. Its very decent for a arts amd science college. And this college provides more intership opportunities in the final year.
