Entrance Preview

I got 113 out of 200 in engineering PET exam of Maharashtra government, this college is near to my Home town. As far as placement concern i was not having any placement expectation from any college so preferred this college. Below are my scores for MBA entrance exam, even if i gave entrance exams i did not take admission in any MBA college. CAT:78 Percentile Mat:97 Percentile MH CET for MBA: 108 out of 200

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was not that good. That corse pattern is followed by 10 years without doing any changes in that pattern. The course should have PHP, javascript content and other subjects which are necessary todays software industry. No concept of BidData, Hadoop or cloud they taught us.

Internships Opportunities

No experience as intern through college. But yes i started in Siemens as Intern and then i got permanent employment opportunity. I started at 18K per month.

Placement Experience

0.5

Actually at our time of passing out, it was a slack season, any one got offer it got delayed by 1 to 1.5 years. But not i did not get any offer from our college.

College Events

0.5

We actually enjoyed a lot in college. They used to have one annual function where one rock show and little dance performances took place at our time. Some events are technical also where peoples used to submit there study report on any topic. Extempor competitions.Dance competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i am OBC student so i used to get 26K as scholarship. and the fee is like 40K to 45K per annum. So i was spending 14 to 18K as annual fee.apart from this Hostel fees were about 17K per annum without concession. Canteens were good, but at 2009 17K is little high.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Only meritorious peoples used to get free books which they need to return after year. But yes i heard about one case, he was brilliant guy management didnt take any fee from him.

Campus Life

3.5

Very good, good campus, good cultural life, sports is also good. Yes some competitions like robotics, extempore competitions, sport competions kept us busy through out the year

Hostel Facilities

3.5

8 out of 10 first year7 out of 10 second year6 out of 10 third year5 out of 10 forth yearas food get bored sometimes but overall rating 7 out of 10. Food is consistently good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, lot of students were having there own contacts from their area. Senior students were helping peoples from their area only. I never got any help from senior members anytime. But yes there are good peoples also.

Exam Structure

First year annually and after that semester pattern. Actually we used to have 12 subject for annual first year pattern and 5 subjects for practicals. Out of which only meritorious students used to pass the mechanics and physics. and for semester pattern 5 subjects and three practicals. Labs were good.

Faculty

3

Boring. No teacher was knowing english properly, they should guide us through out the degree, they used to tell us the concept as overview but themselves were not knowing in depth properly. So teachers were appointed politically, but some teachers are very nice like M. Gaikwad, Deshmukh Sir, salwe Sir, Patil Sir. they were really nice.

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester students get eligible for campus placements .Many big companies like NVIDIA ,AVAYA, BLACKROCK ,WOLTERS CLUVER , PHILLIPS, TATA, INFOSYS give a decent pacakge to students .Last year 83 companies visited campus .HIGHEST PACKAGE -44 LPA AVG PACKAGE 7 LPA .83 percent of students are getting placed and others searching for offcampus and have started to go for higher studies but this percentage will degrade this year as students intake is doubled so more competition and recssion will lead to lower chances of getting placed. My plans are to just get placed in a decent company offering 10+ ctc. there are rules of TPO for the students who are placed .Once you are placed you will be banned from tpo and should not be allowed to sit in in campus jobs further
