My college life

It's good college, but they can hire better faculties. Though the college space is not much they manage to give a good education with extracurricular. So wouldn't suggest anyting because I think it is ok.

I'm in first year and here we have to choose our majors in second year, so till first year end we have study all the subjects that we could have chosen in first year from any other university. I think it's good that they dont make us choose subjects from first year as we can see and then choose waht we want. Now about curriculum, in NVPAS they have fixed curriculum. College starts from 10:30 and ends at 5. 30, there are two halves in 1st half from 10. 30 to 1. 15 there are three lectures the from 2 to 5. 30 we have our lab. Now about exam like every other university semester exams are every six month. However our college takes test every week to make sure their students are doing fine.

Companies do come for placements in our last year, but I'm from first year so I dont have experience. They do interviews in library when they were doing interviews of third year we watched it and for every student came out 6 of 1p seemed happy.

They organise many events in our college, like annual day, talent evening, many tours, cricket tournaments, etc. I have to one tour from our physics department to ISRO - ahemdabad and then science city. It was a good experience.

We have to pay 3000 rupees per semester, though it is expensive you can say that it is worth it. So annually we have to pay 60000. They say they utilities this fees to buy equipment in chemistry and physics lab.

I don't know about any scholarship. But I remember this one scholarship which I was not eligible for, they were giving scholarship to the lower cast and the great thing wa sit was easy to take, my friend didn't hamd to face any difficulties for it.

There are many extracurricular courses like English, physics, computer. I havd taken 3 of them. They teach us how to use different types of equipment in physics course, they teach us spoken English in English course.

Senior students are very helpful. When college started seniors from all division came an interacted with us they seemed so nice, they told us to ask them if we have any doubts and now they organises many events also.

When I choose to do bsc, I started searching for the best or at least good institute for me. Then I heard SPU is the best university for pursuing bsc, then I heard about the procedure of admission. So I filled the online form and got verified from university. Then according to my merit I got admission into natubhai v Patel college of pure and applied science (NVPAS).

We have many faculties, every facility is well qualified. They have done phd, however not all of them knows how to teach. Some of them just don't know how to teach and many of them are the once which we can't find in any corner of world but here.
