Entrance Preview

All India engineering entrance examination. Qualifying marked and than the counselling held by Uttrakhand technical university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall course was good. We had optional subjects in final year and 3rd year but the choice is limited as per the college faculty. The course was decided by Uttrakhand technical university.

Internships Opportunities

No, you need to take care of it by yourself. Never had any internship we had industrial visit for 1 day only in 4 year of the course. No internship was provided by college forget about the stipend.

Placement Experience

Had a different cell for placement but at our time we didn't had good experience with them. Most were the companies are closed when we went for joining but some companies were good. Package not too high expect 3-4 lac.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was about 90k Per annum. Usually for all the private collages and examination fee was additional. Had library fee n other fee included in this only. Fine rules are there for delay and any damage.

Fees and Financial Aid

For us if one had more than 75% than the was a scholar ship of 10000 RS for the student in 1st year.

Campus Life

Girls are lesser than boys and hostel is separate and boys are not allowed. Laundry was available at 100 RS pm. Sports equipment are available but you need to issue it on your id and damage is yours.

Exam Structure

Normally 2 internal examination for theory subjects every semester is of 6 months and than 1 semester exam. College is the center but no UFM allowed .

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was a mix up. Faculty was enough qualified but when come to teaching some are excellent in explaining the subject while some fails. Remember good faculty as of now but they were helpful expect the management.

My college review

Placement Experience:

Stuiarw eligible for placement from 6th semester . There are so many companies visited such as wipro, Deloitte, hcl, tech Mahindra, TCS, and many more. Highest package of BTech is 1.24 cr and average package is 40000. Percentage of students get placed is 60%. My plan after degree is to get an good it job.

GEU is an adventure!

Placement Experience:

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

GEU is super amazing!

Placement Experience:

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.
