Entrance Preview

Their is not EET for this particular course and college is one of the best college in Mumbai for aviation technology .

Course Curriculum Overview

As per CAA & FAA. It was meeting up all the requirements and subject books were also circulated. I has cover all most all the feasibility of Aviation via practical and theoretical .

Internships Opportunities

No stippend and candidates has to pay 18k to 25k for their internship and this cost is in addition to college fee and required for internship is to clear the paper 2 of Aviation .

College Events

3.5

No such events we celebrated only once in Navratri festival the event was organized by college and driven by students. Don't know now days what events they are doing since that time we and college both were new.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship or loan are available. Only thing that they are offering is books and internship.

Alumni/Alumna

No alumni was done, seniors were good and since we were in the second batch of the college starting so we dint faced any harassing moment of dint find any difficulty except during internship .

Faculty

2.5

Good. They were having a good knowledge about aviation and few of them were from the same field and most of them were retired airforce instructors. Overall good combination of faculties to distribute knowledge .

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

The TIAT life.

I chose Thakur Institute of Aviation and Technology because it stood out on several parameters compared to other colleges for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). Thakur Institute provides practical experience in a dedicated hangar with live aircraft, which is a unique feature. Other colleges may lack such exclusive and comprehensive hands-on training opportunities. The faculty here is approachable and well-organized, ensuring students receive timely help and guidance. In contrast, some other colleges may have a higher student-to-faculty ratio, leading to less personalized attention. The two-year course structure, followed by On-Job Training (OGT) and Aircraft Engineering Training (AET), ensures early exposure to real-world scenarios If I couldn't secure admission in other colleges, it was likely due to limited seats or higher cutoffs. However, Thakur Institute's emphasis on real-world training and a student-friendly environment made it my top choice. The overall process and focus of the institute align perfectly with my career goals in aviation maintenance....Read More
