Remarks

I am from Kanyakumari District. I like to study in other districts so I prefer this college. I chose Information Technology based on my interests in it. I came to know about this college from Marthandam Vivekanandha Office. Vivekanandha College is one of the best Women's Engineering College in India. Infrastructure is good. Safety and security for Girls. Good lab and library facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Now I am pursuing B.Tech IT in VCEW. Our faculties encouraged to do online courses like Coursera, NPTEL, Guvi, Solo Learn, 365 Data Science, Cisco, TCS ion Digital Learning Hub etc.

Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

Our management gives importance to campus placement. There are many multinational companies like IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahendra, Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini etc are visiting our college.

Campus Life

Our college conducts more Seminars, Symposium and Workshops. It is very useful to us. In our college, Engineers Day, Pongal Day Celebration, Annual Day Celebration are celebrated very well. In our college, there are the main library and a department library. In the main library Journals, Magazines, Newspapers, Department related books, Story Books, Gate and other competitive exam preparation books are available. Digital lab facilities are also available in the main library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. Wardens are friendly and caring. Water heaters are available on each floor. There are ordinary and deluxe hostels. Mess timings are 8.00 to 9.30 for breakfast, 12.40 to 1.30 for lunch and 7.00 to 8.30 for dinner. Morning Coffee and evening tea will be provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I failed to apply for counselling. I came to know about this college from Marthandam Vivekanandha Office. I got admission there for Information Technology.

Yes our college provide placements our average placement is 9.5 lakh per annum our college provide the highest packages 21 lakh per annum most of the students are placed by this college and the staffs providing us very skillful and English language training our students get above 9.5 CGPA and the plan after the degree is to be work in the good MNC company

The better life journey

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are average and students usually become eligible for campus placements from the final year or last semester.A few companies visit the campus for recruitment, mainly offering entery level roles in technical and non technical fields the average package offered is moderate and suitable for fresh graduates while higher package depends on the student skills and performance around the fair percentage of students get placed while others prefer higher studies or prepare for competative exams the college also give the basis placement training such as aptitude practice communication development and interview guidance which helps the students improve employment
