Well developed University

The positive remark about my college will be the presence of social life for all of the students. Many times it happens that the students are unable to enjoy their college life, they are only immerge in studying. Our college do not endorse any such types of beliefs. The college is full of cultural events, sports event and social event so that the students can become extrovert individuals.

The course curriculum is highly based on practical knowledge. The practical knowledge is important to every student that is undergoing the course. The college authorities are very keen in distributing the practical knowledge about particular subjects so that the students can apply that knowledge and treat the patient judicially because of the training that they have been given as students. The practical knowledge is quite important because dentist is a career option in which the practical knowledge is the only source of your income. The students are motivated to gain practical knowledge. Apart from it, the lectures and all of the other things are also quite detailed.

All of the students that graduate from our College are appointed in big hospitals and get quite a lot of employment opportunities because of their high academic results. Many of the students start their own clinics or even set up their own camps to treat the patients. About 90% of the student who graduate from the college gets good employment opportunities.

After all of the facilities that are provided at our college, the fee that the college charge from the student is quite low. The total fees of the four year bachelor of dental surgery program is only 14.4 lacs. The fee is equally distributed in 4 years and the students are not forced to pay the 14.4 lakh immediately after the admission.

Some students are there who cannot afford to pay the fees even if it is low so the college authorities has come out with merit based scholarship which is important for the students who belong to economically backward section of the society. The scholarship is available for the students who are relatively poor than all of the other normal students of the college.

Recently there was the inauguration of our sport fest which was called CONCOURS. Also there was a titanium general fest, a CII design challenge, onam celebrations and many other trips such as a London trip which was a study trip. Many these types of trips and functions are organised by the college faculty so that the students can gain for enjoyment of their campus life.

Highly furnished and clean hostels are provided to all of the students of our college. There are a range of rooms which are available for the students to occupy. The rooms are neat and clean. Also in house dining facilities are available for the students. There is a hygiene ratio which is maintained at the hostel mess. There are wide range of food and cuisines available for the students. You also get wireless internet facilities and room service with the plus facility of study rooms and overall peaceful environment.

The only way to get admission in the course of bachelor of dental surgery is to pass the national level entrance exam which is available every year for every Indian student. I did the same and pass the entrance exam. After passing the entrance exam I went through counselling and then applied for the admission in the college by visiting the campus. Every student had to visit the campus to confirm their admission and pay their fee.

My campus life at the University is very good mainly because of the behaviour of the teachers towards me. All of the teachers that I have met in all of these years of my course are very good and very soft spoken towards me. All of the teachers create a special bond with the students. They all are very interested in teaching us because they develop kind of relationship with the students over the period of time that they are teaching them I have no disappointment in any teacher who have taught me till date.
