Remarks

The most positive thing about my college will definitely be the affordable fee option that has been provided to the students and the second thing that I really like about my college will be the positive attitude of the faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview

One thing that I really like about my college is the course curriculum of the college. The course curriculum of the college is set in such a way that all of the students get very good academic score in each examination. There are regular test and examination for the practice of the students. A tutorial system has been implemented in the college for the help of the students.

Placement Experience

There are a number of employment opportunities in our college for the students. Because of the academic excellence of the students the students get good quality jobs in future. Also, sometimes there are campus interviews in our college to recruit the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The duration of the MSc physics course is of 2 years. The yearly fee of the course is 47000 rupees for first year and 40000 rupees for 2nd year. These figure of fees includes tuition fees, admission fees and also caution deposit.

Campus Life

They are different type of extracurricular activities at our college such as certain dance sports and debates competitions. There are guest lectures, seminars and workshop. There are regular annual events that are annual day, founders day, teacher's day, freshers party, induction ceremonies and many other such things which boost the social ability of the students.

Admission

If you want to get admission in MSC course of this college then you must have passed your BSc course with the minimum of 50% marks under part three main only. If you qualify this eligibility criteria then only you must apply for the course. The application form for Post graduation courses in the college is available in the college office. You have to pay rupees 200 for the form if you belong to general category and rupees 100 if you belong to any backward caste or category. The admission is given to the student on the basis of the marks that they obtain in their qualifying examination.

Faculty

This faculty is one of the most highly experienced faculty that I have ever learned from in my life. All of the teaching staff is very hardworking and perfect in the work that they are doing. All of the teachers are very polite too.

Our batch was in Covid lag batch. So the course curriculum was highly rushed. We weren't able to cover aspects which would have real world applications. The last semester research project was fine but still more hands on experience and more research oriented approach could've been taken .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placement in their final year of the course. We have BS-MS, MSc, IPhD and PhD currently. Students from BS-MS are more likely to be placed. Though placement is less as students mostly go for research after masters. We have a placement cell that notifies about the opportunities in industries and academia. As my plans are to pursue a PhD after getting this degree so I never got interested in placement opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a chemistry lover that is why I am choosing this course to become a chemist. There are 8 faculties in the department and 120 students in B.Sc and M.Sc section in chemistry. 5 of the 8 have Ph.D. and 2 have post-doctorate. The remaining 3 are doing their Ph.D. The teaching at the M.Sc level was really different and interesting. They gave the training to mold us as the master of chemistry by self preparations and practice. We are the teachers of our class. We refer to textbooks at libraries (3 libraries. Main, department, research lab). The most difficult portions were taken by teachers in a high-tech way. The teachers arrange international and national seminars. Exams were conducted by universities. That was really easy for us because our department faculties also conduct unit tests and 2 level model exams before semester exams. And provide a minimum of 2 weeks of study leave before exams.

the college is a non-government college coming under kannur University. Students can apply to the college through CAP registration. Eligibility for the course includes at least 50% marks in 12th std. During the allotment the students can check if they got admitted to their preferred college or not. If you got an allotment, then the students should present themselves in the college whenever they are asked to. The admission form will be available in the college office which needs to be filled then and there.
