Best University for distance education in Orissa

I am doing my distant BCA from Sambalpur University with my going job. The university experience is quite fun and hardworking, as the course wasn't much easy and I had to work hard to clear examinations. The good support of teachers also helps me keep going.

The course curriculum is quite good, containing 5-6 subjects in each semesters containing a mathematical, 2-3 technical and a management subject sometimes. Practical labs are also added in the syllabus for each semester. Examinations are held at the end of each semester and assignments are submitted for evaluation throughout the semester.

The university provides good placement opportunities, last year around 200 companies visited the campus including TCS, Tech Mahindra, Zomato and Axis bank. The highest package ranged to 6lakh per annum.

The fee for the university is quite feasible, I paid around Rs. 16,000 every year, during my course. In total, I paid around Rs. 46,000 for my whole BCA course duration. The fee is quite low, as per placement opportunities provided here.

The college holds multiple workshops, events and seminars throughout the year. We enjoyed them alot. The college has good infrastructure with well equipped and maintained libraries and computer labs. One can visit them anytime, as they are mostly open so the students can easily have access to study material

The university has mutiple hostels for both boys and girls. The university has separate hostel for postgraduate and doctorate course students. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable. The hostel also has an auditorium and an ATM nearby. Wifi facility is also provided to hostel students.

I was eager to do my BCA with correspondence because I wanted to carry on a job. So, I took admission here after many people advised me. There were no particular criteria for students, as the university can accommodate a large number of admissions, still one needs to be a 10+2 cleared applicant to take admission here. I registered here through offline mode, to get my name enrolled for course BCA here.

The faculty of the college is quite friendly and knowledgable, they also offer classes on Saturdays and Sundays for working applicants. The faculty is also skilled and provides clear guidance and helps with any doubts about students.
