Course Curriculum Overview
We have 10 subjects and all the subjects are designed to encourage research and thinking out of the box. Some subjects like Italian and Spanish food is all about practice and achieving perfection. Overall the course structure is good.
Placement Experience
HIIHS, Delhi has a separate training and placement cell for students. The placement cell conducts soft skills training including Life skills, Communication in English, Personality Development, Etiquette, Grooming, and Image Development and so on. The curriculum of the hotel management course is devised to train students in fields of food services, catering, accommodation etc. Most of the students have been placed in the USA, Canada, Europe, India, UK, Dubai, Spain, Singapore and Mauritius. HIIHSalso provides placements in Airlines and Cruise Liners.
Fee Structure And Facilities
am pursuing a 3-year degree course in hotel management and hospitality and the total fee that I am Paying for the course is Rs 60000 which I think is perfect amount because everything is including In this means the practice, theory, learning a foreign language and English communication.
Campus Life
- The institute regularly organizes study tours to Singapore under the HETA program. - Complimentary foreign language (German), along with a command in the English language. - Scholarship of 5 to 10% to the students who secured 75% and above in class 12th. - Free counseling seminars for interested students to get detailed course information. Monday to Saturday b/w (9:30 am- 6:30 pm).
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms were very big and we used to share with 6 people in a room. The food was also good. There were no PGs near to college. Many of the students used to stay in rented houses with their classmates and friends. Rents of the houses used to be 3000 per month for 1BHK.
Admission
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and marks secured in the Herbarium Entrance Test and Personality Assessment (HETPA). It is a one-hour psychometric test followed by personal interview. A student can attend the exam in Hindi or English as well.
Faculty
The faculties of respective courses are experienced as well as well qualified. If you are willing to study they are always there for you. One thing you need is the learning quality in your self. You will also get treated well by the teachers.
