Remarks
My experience was good in college. I find faculty and whole college supportive. College provides transport facility which is a convenience for many students. College is good in their field and it also provides placement opportunity. The ones who are searching for a good college for nursing can join the college for sure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was quite good, covering all the basic subjects needed for the field including all the important topics like sociology, Nutrition, Micro-Biology etc. I enjoyed the whole course duration a lot, as it helped me learn new things. The course follows the year approach and examinations are held yearly.
Placement Experience
Mansarovar Nursing College also provides placement opportunity for students. The placement cell is supportive and helps the students in every way. Students have the opportunity to get placed after completing their course according to their respective knowledge and skillsets.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for my b.sc nursing course was Rs. 65,000 per annum. The course duration was 4 year, hence the total bearable cost became Rs. 2,60,000. I found the cost to be quite effective and feasible as per the facilities and education provided at the college.
Campus Life
The college has it's an independent training centre. It has a good infrastructure which creates a good studying environment for students. Books lending facility is also available in Mansarovar Nursing College at the college library. Labs are also well maintained which I liked a lot here.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides hostel facility as well. The charges for the hostel are Rs. 60,000 per annum. Hostel facility is also good and the food provided in the hostel was quite good too. If you want to stay in the hostel, you have to pay 60,000 yearly for hostel apart from the academic fee.
Admission
I was always enthusiastic for paramedical, so I took admission in Mansarovar Nursing College. I took admission here after completing my 12th with PCB. Students can take admission in the college after intermediate or any UG. My course was B.sc nursing for which you have to complete 12th with subjects PCB as I did. The college provides courses for UG and PG, and some diploma courses also. One has to clear the entrance exam to be admitted in college, luckily I cleared the examination with ease and gave the interview, reserving my seat for B.Sc Nursing under the college. The entrance exam was in different parts - physics, chemistry, biology and English.
Faculty
The faculty was quite skilled and highly qualified, which helped us in learning the different techniques and skills with ease. The teachers always looked out for us at experimentation phases teaching us with curiosity. Teachers were also supportive in class as well as outside the classes.
